On the small screen...
I've seen a couple of videos recently that I found rather amusing. In one of them, Elmer Fudd "cuts to the chase" with Bugs Bunny, instead of falling for the usual banter.
(Not for the sensitive)
In the other, a very talented George W. Bush impersonator appears side by side with the man himself at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner.
(Tip o' the 'do rag to Hank for the latter...)

Okay, that was just mean! Poor Bugs....As for the White House Correspondents' Dinner, that was just too rich! I bet it really ticked off the libs in the audience. I've found they really don't or can't laugh at themselves! They don't seem to be happy unless they are demeaning someone or something...that they find funny. Pitiful!
UpNorthLurkin:
Yes, the Bugs Bunny parody is kind of mean-spirited, but if you had my twisted sense of humor...you'd think it was funny.
The White House Correspondents' Dinner routine was awesome, though. And it shows a depth of character to be able to laugh at yourself, IM[NS]HO...
Taken to task for not posting more often on my friend's web sites, I stayed awake and entertained my frequent visitor, the Insomnia Monster, at 0440 the other day.
I was rewarded with something called "Soul Plane". Snoop Dogg may have a sense of humor more subtle than mine about the black condition. I am disturbed about the state of black culture. I have common ground with Bill Cosby. When I was just a Southern redneck pup, he tought me how to respect black people, and how to tell a joke without cussing.
This is abbreviated. It's going to UPI. This was something I was going to wait on, but it has it's own form and function.
Well I for one am glad that wascally wabbit finally got his!
As for the comedy team on the other video, it was excellent and certainly outshone the idiotic nonsense of Colbert, pah!
Looks like an Emmy for Bugs Bunny and a Peabody for the Prez...
Trotting Possum:
Taken to task, huh? Hmmm...I remember mentioning it in passing, perhaps.
The Insomnia Monster is no friend of mine either, but hasn't bothered me much lately, thankfully.
I think I'm remembering something about "Soul Plane"; sort of a takeoff (no pun intended) on the "Airplane!" genre of movies, if I recall correctly.
Beerme:
The "wascally wabbit" certainly did get his in that one.
And the comedy team on the other video was great, indeed!

Too bad we don't get to vote on those awards...
Oh man that was funny. Who says Bush has no sense of humor? That was the BEST a President speech EVER given... I really enjoyed that. That's a keeper.

Anyone who sees that and claims that Dubya has no sense of humor is in a serious state of denial...
Strange request Mr. Camojack...but you're the only person I know who ever took the time to glance at my crap. Would ya do it one last time old pal? Just, report back if you can hear sound...lol...then exit immediately...lmao.

Wow...reading that now, before I go to bed, that looked like a plug, I hope you know me better than that. Delete these posts as soon as you see them man...Really sorry for spamming this...
Josh:
I posted a comment at your blog in response to your request.
As for your comments being "spam", they don't meet the criteria.
IOW, no worries...
Haha, well, thanks anyway. Just a voice clip of me, wasn't sure. Where at abouts Colorado are you, anywhere near Montrose?
Josh:
Actually, I'm just North of Colorado Springs...nowhere near Montrose, it's about 250 miles from here.
Lucky you, the closer to Western Montana you got, the dryer and more hellish it became.
Josh:
I prefer Western Montana to Eastern Montana, personally. North and/or South Central Montana is pretty nice too...especially Glacier National Park and Yellowstone. Of course, the best/main part of the latter is in Wyoming...
