White Christmas?
Indeed; I suspect that at least some of the snow that fell over the past weekend will still be lying around on Christmas Day:
(A view from "La Casa de Camo")
It looks nice an' all, but since my garden tractor (with snow blower attachment) refused to start, I had to default to using the dreaded "old school" snow shovel:
(My achin' back!)
The previous weekend I was up at Rockefeller Center:
(Nice tree; it was cold there too)
Next weekend though, I'm heading South...WAY South.
(It'll be Summer there)
Last, and anything but least, the reason for the season:
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Hey Camo. I got about 8-9" here in central NJ. My sister says she got about 18" in South Jersey with drifts up to her waist.
Enjoy your trip and a VERY Merry Christmas to you too!
Is that all ya got? Sheesh....
We spent 2 days with shovels, MkI moving 23" of the white stuff just to get to the road. Still haven't gotten any further than Wallymart - probably won't for a couple more days. WV doesn't plow the roads much.
Anyway, it's good to hear from you again. See you at the Ruck?
Merry Christmas.
Ho, ho and ho to you, yours and everyones else's!
Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year!
Looks gorgeous. I wish that it would do that in Oklahoma - but we're south - wayyy south! :-)
However, it is really, really cold.
I'm on the road and on the laptop, traveling back from Tennessee to Oklahoma. We got an inch of snow in TN and so I got to see some anyway. Merry Christmas Camo!! And to the rest of you too. Hope you are truly blessed this season.

Bring back some pictures from your trip, with less snow of course.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Birthday, enjoy the other hemisphere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
btw, that tree came from Maryland this year.
Brrrrr. Baby it's cold outside....
It'll be a White Christmas where I'm going...it's supposed to snow in IL on Christmas Day. I just hope I can get there in time for Christmas without any delays, since they're predicting freezing rain for Thursday. O'Hare oughta be fun if that happens.
Merry Christmas, a safe journey to Machu Picchu, and a Happy New Year!!
Dusty white here at the bunker. We get a wee bit every night but it is suppose to be in the 40's so no white Christmas here.
Not much fun this Christmas since my IV treatment did the opposite of what the Dr's hoped (me too) and I have been confined to my apartment and wearing out my easy chair. I feel like my MS just got 10 times worse. Hoping a physical therapist will do the job to get me moving once more.
Besides all that, I still know the reason fer the Season. So this is my wish to you and all, have a Merry Christmas! Keep on shoveling, bro.
Merry Christmas jack
Merry Christmas and the very happiest of New Years to you, Camo :)
I'm ready for the snow to melt, myself.
We've had rain and cold winds, Camo. No White Christmas is expected. FLorida, you know.
;)
A safe and Merry Christmas!
Whoo-Hoo!
Thanks for the snow update (from around the country!)!
Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful, prosperous New Year!
That was me, (above)I messed up.
Who would think a person could mess up Merry Christmas. :p
Merry Christmas everyone whether you have a white one or not.
Hawkeye®:
We got about a foot of snow hereabouts.
oso loco:
See my comment above.
(Some melted)
I am planning to attend the PA Ruck, yes.
(See you there!)
boberin:
Ho³ to you, too. :-)
Whiteacres:
It does look nice...it's just a pain to shovel.
(Literally)
Have a safe trip!
Allen Maddox:
I'm sure that I'll take a lot of pictures.
bob:
I presume that you're referring to the tree at Rockefeller Center: "This year's tree is a 76-foot, 10 ton Norway Spruce that hails from Easton, Connecticut." And here I've been under the impression that it traditionally came from the Catskills, though I'm not sure where I got that idea.
mig:
Reminds me of a song. ;-)
Bunny:
It might turn out to be a WET Christmas here, but it'll be nice and warm where I'm going.
Shelly:
Best of luck with your situation, kiddo.
At least you do know the "reason fer the Season".
Alan:
Mele Kalikimaka!
Cassandra:
All of the snow will melt eventually.
(Global Warming™, don't ya know)
benning:
Snow isn't totally unprecedented in Florida, although it is infrequent.
Beerme:
Yes, as you pointed out, we did get a snow update from around the country. Pretty cool, huh?
(No pun intended)
Nylecoj:
No worries, I deleted the deletion.
All:
Have yourselves a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY, HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!!
We had a Blessed Christmas. Thanksfor the snow photos. Not much here in Alabama. I actually had to wear a jacket today.
Was that tacky?
Pat's Rick©:
Happy New Year!
Was what tacky, mentioning that you live in a warmer clime? It's merely factual. I just came back from the Southern Hemisphere, where it's currently Summer; just the facts...man. ;-)
