One o' these days...
...I'll post something new; possibly even witty and insightful.
For now however, I'm still fatigued from sailing my 26' sloop to The Bahamas and back.
Carry on...
UPDATE:
Here are some pictures from the trip.
(My boat is the "Olivia II")

Welcome home sailor. Us landlubbers missed ya.
I don't know if that's braggin or complainen. Either way it sounds great!
Smooth sailing all the way?
Translation of camo's "post"...
I'm just soooo TIRED from having so much FUN, that I cannot bring myself to "return to reality" just yet!!! >:-}
Thank God the sharks didn't eat you, camo! Glad you made it home safely, and hope you had a wonderful time!
Great to have you back.
Kajun:
No hurricane, thankfully, but 'tis the season...also the time of year when wave heights are lowest.
Hawkeye®:
Thanks. I missed youse guys too.
mig:
Admittedly, it's a good kind of tired, but 17 hours driving the boat against the Gulf Stream takes it's toll...
kwl:
Neither braggin' nor complainin'...just sayin'. Other than a couple squalls the sailing was pretty smooth.
'da Bunny:
Saw an 8' Thresher shark when I was diving a wreck, but they're not particularly dangerous.
Pat'sRick:
It's great to be back, thanks.
Welcome home Jack! You sure have some fun vacations! I'm lucky if I get to go camping (it's the only thing I can afford).
MargeinMI:
Thanks; I'll be posting pictures at some point, on another website. For now, here are some from last year's little excursion from Key West to the Dry Tortugas.
JannyMae:
The trip was a good one, but as Dorothy said in "The Wizard of Oz", there's no place like home.
Regarding being witty and insightful, it's probably an unattainable goal which I'll never achieve...but I shall continue in the attempt.
Camo, I don't blame you if you were braggin or complainin, as I would admire it anyway.
I was on the opposite side, thirteen cities in June, I am tired and I am complaining, but alas, I'll quit whining now. :-)
Welcome back !!
kwl:
You were on the opposite side of where...the Florida Straits, the Atlantic, the Lower 48? 'Fess up, now. Oh, and thanks!
The opposite side of , cruisin, relaxin, sun, sand, surf, pretty girls, drinks with umbrellas (don't drink anyway, but if I did..)was working, mainland domestic cities.
kwl:
It wasn't all fun in the sun; it's a bit of work getting there and back...but well worth the effort.
