Get the feeling you're being watched?
Well, sometimes...you are!
A fellow blogger, who posts from one of my favorite places (The Big Island of Hawaii) turned me on to Sitemeter some time ago.
Because of that, I now get regular reports about who is viewing my blog, and from where. I even get their IP addresses. Consequently, I've been informed that the last 100 hits included visits from such places as the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, India, Japan...and one of my favorite places: Kona, Hawaii.
(Did I say that already?!)
There have been visitors from many countries all over the world, in addition to the majority which originate in the U.S.
I don't know about anyone else, but I think it's pretty cool...

I agree. It is pretty cool!
Think I'll get me one of them...
Ah, I often sheck my temporary internet file registry and often see many, many listings for "sitemeter" and never knew what they were. Now I do
Big brother truly is watching, luckily I'm pretty boring so I'm sure they wouldn't watch me for long unless they needed some sleep!
Oh my! I'd better put on my bathrobe. I didn't know you were LOOKING!
Beerme:
Sure, why not? It's free.
boberin:
I don't think you're boring, just a bit naive, politically speaking.
(But I know you're a patriot)
MargeinMI:
I've been meaning to ask you about that interesting birthmark...
Bob_inSpain:
Actually, New Zealand is fairly close to the French (politically), more's the pity.
Maggie:
Well, I'm glad someone's looking out for me...Big Sister!
I watch from Downtown, NJ!
(:D) Regards...
The maps are way cool and one of my favorite toys!
Mr. Eye®:
I've been meaning to ask: Downtown where, NJ?!
Grant:
The maps are a pretty nifty feature...thanks again for telling me about Sitemeter.
Probably attracted by the Cheesesteak post!
benning:
That's quite understandable.
Oh, and...ELEVENTEEN!!!
How do they find geniusondanet dot blog dot com... Search things on Blogger dot com and you pop up big time...
JR:
Well, I guess I've been sighted at various sites around the "blogosphere".
Gotta share the love, y'know?
The remnants of Daniel are causing some wind and rain. Not much fun in the sun for the next few days.
Grant Jones:
'Tis the season, eh what? I won't be back over there 'til next Winter, myself...February, that is.
Kajun:
Pitcairn?! Isn't that where Mr. Christian took the H.M.S. Bounty after the famous mutiny? Different one, I reckon...
Kajun:
Would that bounty as in plenty...or a price on someone/something?
I've been meaning to answer, but... Hey, can't you find me on your map thingy?
(:D) Regards...
Hawkeye®:
Absolutely!
But that's showing me Cranbury, New Jersey...not "Downtown".
(Maybe that's your ISP?)
Dear Lord. Stop watching. Now.
Sitemeter is the work of Satan and his minions :D
I often wish I'd never installed one. I have to look at mine for certain things but I really, really try to ignore it as much as possible. On the otter heiny it does amuse me seeing how different computers in my house show up with different connections... but that's only amusing for so long.
Cassandra:
The entire Internet is "the work of Satan and his minions"...which makes us his minions, huh?
Nah; we're on the side of goodness and light! :-D
(Although Lucifer means light bringer)
